Roger Harvey studied for five years at the then College of Art in Coventry (now Lancaster College). Having served in The Royal Air Force, he spent time working in marketing, PR and photography, before dedicating himself to painting full time. Roger is also a fully qualified photographer with both The British Institute of Professional Photography and The Master Photographers Association.
Roger paints in oils, creating classical style paintings with a wide range of subject matter, including landscapes, seascapes, portraits and architecture. Much of his work is commissioned.
He has exhibited at major galleries, including The Tryon Gallery in London, where he was invited by Sir Hugh Tryon to show full body paintings of sporting personalities playing their sport. Many of these can be seen on Roger’s http://www.rogerharvey.co.uk/
