June Crawshaw was born in Woking, Surrey and now lives in Mundesley, Norfolk with her husband Alwyn Crawshaw.
June paints in watercolour, acrylic and oil and is now also working in mixed media and collage. She was made a member of the Society of Women Artists in 1987, the British Watercolour Society in 1988, and a member of the National Acrylic Painters Association in 1977. In the year 2000, she was made and honourary member of the United Society of Artists. June exhibits at all the Societies’ annual exhibitions, and galleries throughout the country. She had a major joint exhibition with her husband Alwyn in Tokyo in 1988 and also in 2001.
In 1992, June helped Alwyn found and launch the Society of Amateur Artists.
