||Lana Grabinskis was born in County Durham in 1963. Her early gift for drawing became nurtured by her late Father Talivaldis Grabinskis during her school years. Throughout this period of time Lana would see herself following in her Fathers footsteps. Life after school took Lana in many directions and the thought of becoming a professional artist slowly diminished. Lanaís wish to pursue an career in art only emerged when she moved to Norfolk at the beginning of this year 2009 which was then sadly followed by the sudden passing of her dear Mother Mary. Lana became more determined to create works of art and to carry on the family name within the world of art. The brilliance of the elements upon the Norfolk landscape and the warmth of itís people have provided a sanctuary for Lana, inspired to express her artistic talents with an emphasis upon drama, light and movement. Lana feels that she can achieve this with the subtlety of conte for figurative work. Lana is new to Picturecraft and is overwhelmed by their encouragement and expertise. She is excited by the prospects of a long and successful future with this particular Gallery. Lanaís work can be viewed regularly at Picturecraft gallery.
